Ötzidorf Umhausen
Ötzi and his time

The Ötzidorf Umhausen is an archaeological open-air park which provides the visitor an exciting insight into the possible life in a small village community during the Neolithic age. The scene is dominated by the original film buildings used for the production of "The Iceman of the Oetz Valley and his world", where authentically reconstructed working and hunting instruments are exposed, as well as fireplaces, ovens, places of worship, a grain-field and early domestic animals.

Visitors are given the possibility to book a specific guided tour or make a do-it-yourself visit.

Opening times

  May - October daily
from 10.00 - 18.00
